Other: Draycote
Wind Direction: NNW
Wind Stength: Force 6
Surf / Sea State: small waves
Air Temperature:
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: rain
Max Speed: 25ish (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered:

Having passed the RYA safety boat certificate, I wanted to do some real work on a wet and windy evening.

Yesterday evening delivered. NNW, force 6 and rain. Only windsurfers out (see Steve's entry).

Had a blast in the RIB at Draycote - going upwind through the rain felt like someone popping shoots at you with a pea shooter. Downwind was more more relaxed - travelling at wind speed and smooth.

Dunks decided I needed a bit of practice so joined me in the other RIB. Of course, that developed into a drag race in a matter of seconds.

Finished off with a pint at the bar.
